"Islamiyat" is a cultural application provided by theInformation& eGovernment Authority (iGA) in cooperation withthe Ministryof Justice, Islamic Affairs & Awqaf and theMinistry ofInterior in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The app provides thelatestupdates relating to the Hijri Islamic calendar, officialprayertimings, service features such as Qibla direction, thelocations ofmosques and Islamic centres in the Kingdom of Bahrain,in additionto the ability to calculate Zakat and pay charitabledonations. Theapp provides an array of services available aroundthe year, andothers are seasonal based on Islamic occasions. Youcan benefitfrom the following services offered within theapplication: • Fa'elKhair: This service allows users wishing toprovide financialcharitable donations for the benefit of theinsolvents and thedefaulted whom judicial rulings have been issuedagainst, with thepossibility of identifying the cases the userwould like tosupport. • Mosques & Islamic Centres: A directorythat assistsin searching & locating all the Mosques and IslamicCentres inthe Kingdom of Bahrain. • Zakat & Donations: Userscancalculate and pay the amount of zakat that must be paid anddonateto charity projects that are run by the Zakat and CharityFund inMinistry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf. • TheGregoriancalendar and the Bahraini Hijri calendar according toShariah,scientific and astronomical standards and according tothemethodology of "Al Zubarah and Bahrain Calendar" which wasadoptedin 1783. • Prayer Timings: Prayers timing and notificationsand theImsakya timings during Ramadan for the Kingdom of Bahrain.•Ramadan Majalis: An inclusive directory of all the daily andweeklyMajalis held all over the Kingdom of Bahrain during the monthofRamadan the directory includes all the Majalis names,contactdetails, timings, the ability to locate the desired Majalis,aswell as search for the nearest Majlis to the user. •Compass:Enables users to locate the Qibla direction. • Hajj andUmrah:Official directory of the Hajj and Umrah campaign organizersin theKingdom of Bahrain including their contact details, theirofficeaddresses, and service to inquire about the registrationofpilgrims. • Daily Moon Status: The service of determiningthephases of the moon on a daily basis with pictures.
